i think this is just a power-play which the military of this country is playing.. the popular belief the public is that F-16s are flying over (some one quoted that to me in my family) i would now like to show this picture to the person... saying what an outdated F-16 is this... i agree with Abdul Qudoos the army is just trying to take advantage of the moment.. and maybe trying to tell the IAF that we are patrolling the skies so beware... however, i think even they can tell that these are some really slow planes so nothing they should be worried about...

Faisal Qureshi is a speaker lacking the knowledge of his responsibility while speaking.. He was supposed to give a lecture on Effective Presentation Skills but wasted two hours of the audience blundering around the fact that we are terrible as a nation.. and assuming that the people dont want to learn. I would like to believe that people turning up in such numbers to the tittle of the workshop was proof enough that they wanted to learn.. besides it was his responsibility as a speaker not to waste the time of the audience and get to the subject rather than bush bashing..

forgive me for being cynical about this but do such celebrations lead to any benefit on the national level.. Currently we are going through a dark time when poor and lower middle class is being trodden down ... does this help in that direction.... if it does then are there any celebrations (under the same vision) in the other parts of our country

The pictures are great and it seems that the monument is a good piece of art and architecture... However, wouldnt it be better if we would spend the money we are spending on new monuments to the restoration and maintenance of the already built monuments..
